Physics Appetizers

mmmm... Appetizers

These Physics Appetizers are designed to be an intro to a part of physics known as mechanics, or how things move and interact at a human scale. Each of these challenges will hopefully get you thinking and wondering about physics.

1. Balancing Sculpture

Make a balancing sculpture with 10 unique objects. Make 3 different sculptures.

Take a picture of the objects you use, and take pictures of your sculptures. Create a summary of what you learned while making them.

3. Inertia

Replicate the Coin Drop trick at home. You need a cup, some quarters and a piece of paper. Once you are successful, riff on the Coin Drop by making your own version of an inertia-dependent trick. Take pictures
