Risograph Things

Here is the template that I use with our students to make Zines on the risograph printer. Combined with Spectrolite, this is all that is required. The template includes the ink colors that I have available for the risograph built in.

Sketchup Things

Link to Sketchup App - I prefer using the app because it automatically backs up any work to your account. This is preferable when you are with a partner because it isn't locked in computer and is much easier to share. Though I have experienced some stability issues the good out weighs the bad.

Here are a few of the most helpful Sketchup tutorials I have found.
1. i.materialize.com - For the absolute beginner. Step by step instructions are included to get you started making your first shapes and designs.

2. Help.Sketchup.com - More useful as a reference than as a guide to getting started. If you have a specific question while using the program this is the place.

3. Mastersketchup.com - Very complete pair of videos for starting. Detailed, captioned. Slightly out of date but the mechanics are the same

Some of my Favorite Youtube Project Ideas

Here are some ideas for things you might be interested in for individual project ideas. Each of these channels might give you some good ideas as well.
I see this going a few ways. Maybe 1 person makes a small, 1 sided version of this that is a little simpler. Maybe a few folks team up. One could make the base and one or two could make the obstacles.
There are a few really interesting ideas here. All would be interesting to see and mess with. This is another channel that has a lot of good ideas.
Different idea, but I could see students making video essays like this about a topic they are interested in.
This is an excellent project because it wouldn't take too long, so one could make multiple drafts of stools and try different designs. In fact this whole channel is pretty great.
I've always wanted to try this. The epoxy can be expensive but this just looks like a ton of fun. Using smaller canvases, someone could make multiple drafts or a series of pieces in a couple of colors.
Another example of a type of video essay, but on a different subject. This is a professional example though I think students would make comparable work
