Assignment 1 - Build 3 Prisms

All student built 5 prisms. They chose their best 2 and wrapped all or part of them in paper.

Assignment 2 - build a draft Wall Mounted Mobile (Calder)

All students chose a wall mounted mobile to be inspired by and created a small scale version of it using wire and paper.

Assignment 3 - build a draft Lantern (Noguchi)

All students will choose a lantern to be inspired by and create a 12 inch tall version using wire and tracing paper.

Assignment 4 - scale model proposals

Individual students will plan and propose both a lantern and a wall mounted mobile, at scale, and build models of each.

Assignment 5 - full scale lanterns or mobiles

Pairs of students will choose one of their proposals to build full scale.
