Morning session today! Turn your blog posts in here Today's notes 4/22 By now, you should have a modified version of the penny dropping demonstration completed and documented. Complete a draft of your blog post and have it ready for class this afternoon! 4/19 TO DO - Sign up for small groups tomorrow! - On your own today, complete the demonstrations and notes. Use the included calculator and find t and V0 for some different horizontal projectiles. (t=flight duration, V0=Initial velocity). Today we'll critique each others work before making edits. You will have time this afternoon to polish your post before submitting it. Submit your Week 2 posts and student led comments here. Honors Information 3/18 Use today to execute your updated demonstration and begin a post about it. Use the same questions as last week: 1. Describe the original demonstration and the concept it is meant to convey. 2. Identify, explain, and support the changes that you made to the demonstration. See you Friday! 3/16 Use your afternoon to try the demo below and complete the demo notes. Use the resources below and whatever else you can find online Demonstration Resource 1 Resource 2 Resource 3 (annoying but helpful) ** TOP TIP: Draw a diagram of the demonstration after you finish it and try to label all the different forces. This will really help! Submit your Inertia post and comment. I will assess them after I eat lunch today. Even if your post isn't finished, send it in with a comment! 3/15 We'll start the next topic and demo tomorrow morning at 9:30. Today you may submit your work from last week. This week we will study INERTIA. On Tuesday, make your own version of the demonstration, look over the assigned resources, and complete the Demonstration Notes organizer. Sign up for a small group time on Wednesday and come prepared to discuss / ask questions regarding the demonstration and concepts.
